Munichian Candidate Loses - and Latinobama Fails to Defeat Feinstein
Surging Democrats see illegal voters as their electoral college in 2020.
On November 5, “Palestinian Mexican” Democrat Ammar Campa-Najjar told Republican Duncan Hunter, “After tomorrow, you’ll be relieved of your duties as congressman. It gives me no pleasure knowing that you’ll likely face time in prison for what you’ve done.” Hunter is under indictment for misuse of campaign funds, but he still defeated the progressive Democrat, 54.2 to 45.8.
Al-Najjar is grandson of Palestinian terrorist Muhammad Yusuf al-Najjar, a veteran of the massacre of 11 Israeli athletes at the 1972 Munich Olympics. The “Latino Arab American” candidate is the son of Yusuf al-Najjar, who has functioned as an ambassador for the Palestinian Authority. His son, who spent formative years in Gaza, failed to reveal that before the election.
The candidate’s family connection to Munich only emerged in February, some four years after al-Najjar worked in the administration of POTUS 44. Despite charges of a “fiercely Islamophobic campaign,” the “new voters,” code for illegals, were not enough to carry the day and al-Najjar lost by ten points. Closer races are another story.
On election night, Orange County Republican Young Kim, an immigrant from South Korea, held a 3-point lead over Democrat Gil Cisneros in the race to replace retiring Ed Royce. Kim was in Washington for orientation for when reports came in that Cisneros had taken a lead of 941 votes.
Kim issued a statement charging the Cisneros campaign of “harassing and intimidating vote counters in Orange County” in a “desperate attempt to change the results.” For the establishment media, the default explanation was that a surge of late votes for Democrats is normal.
“What it’s not about is fraud,” wrote Kevin Modesti in the Orange County Register. “There is zero evidence to suggest vote counts are being skewed by anyone to favor Democrats, despite some claims from local and national GOP politicians.” Modesti cited Paul Mitchell of Political Data Inc. that a post-election-day surge for Democrats is “very predictable” and “it’s unpatriotic to just willy-nilly start attacking our election system.”
As the Los Angeles Times had it, the charge of fraud was simply a “Trump tactic.” The race is now being called for Cisneros 50.7 to 49.3, but the notion that election fraud played no role ignores some major back stories.
For decades, conservative Orange County has been a bull’s-eye for the left. Back in 1996, 642 illegals voted for Democrat Loretta Sanchez, who defeated Republican Robert Dornan, a staunch conservative, by fewer than 1,000 votes. The voter-fraud campaign was organized by Hermandad Mexicana Nacional, a project of Bert Corona, a Communist since the days of the Stalin-Hitler pact, but it was nothing new.
As a State Department investigation discovered, false-documented illegals have been voting in local, state, and federal elections for decades. In recent years, California Democrats have been deploying the Department of Motor vehicles in the cause. The 2015 “motor voter” law allowed the DMV automatically to register as voters those who get driver’s licenses. Secretary of State Alex Padilla claimed that protocols and “firewalls” would keep ineligibles from voting, but there was room for reasonable doubt.
After the 2016 election, Padilla refused to release any information to a federal probe of voter fraud, which he called a “false and debunked” claim. In 2015, on the other hand, Padilla told the Los Angeles Times, “at the latest, for the 2018 election cycle, I expect millions of new voters on the rolls in the state of California.” True to form, by March, 2018, the DMV had given licenses to more than one million illegals and from April to August registered 182,000 “new voters.” And the Democrats hatched a plan to hide the number who actually showed up to vote on November 6.
In September, when the DMV announced 23,000 “erroneous” registrations, Democrats feigned outrage and called for an audit. This would take place not under nonpartisan state auditor Elaine Howle, the intrepid sleuth who exposed UC President Janet Napolitano’s secret $175 million slush fund. Instead, governor Jerry Brown’s Department of Finance will conduct the DMV audit and release the results next March, when Brown will be out of office.
That will make it hard to find out how much voter fraud contributed to the Democrats’ sweep for House seats in Orange County. Democrats such as presidential hopeful Kamala Harris, who compares ICE to the Ku Klux Klan, will be looking to illegal voters as their electoral college.
Last year California senate boss Kevin de Leon, author of the state’s sanctuary law, began claiming the father he never knew was a Chinese cook born in Guatemala. The aspiring Latinobama lost to Dianne Feinstein 52-48, but his unbelievable story raises an issue for 2020.
Like Supreme Court judges, all candidates for federal office should get a thorough background check. Voters must present certified identification and voter rolls purged of those who are not supposed to be in the country. Those who seek to enter the country illegally should be kept out. These common-sense measures will help ensure a cleaner count in 2020 and beyond.
