Netflix Bans Crews From Looking at Each Other for 5 Seconds
The left’s response to corruption in its own ranks is never character or values. Instead it’s insane totalitarian regulations that predictably bypass the lefty abusers and land on the heads of ordinary people.
Netflix has introduced new anti-harassment training in the wake of the #metoo movement that rocked Hollywood and seriously disrupted production on its House of Cards show.
The disruption seemed to have much more to do with Kevin Spacey choosing to live his life as a creep.
New rules imposed on set reportedly include no looking at anyone for longer than five seconds, no lingering hugs, no flirting and no asking for a colleague’s phone number.
“Everyone was spoken to about #MeToo,” an on-set runner currently working on the new season of Black Mirror told The Sun.
“Senior staff went to a harassment meeting to learn what is and isn’t appropriate. Looking at anyone longer than five seconds is considered creepy.
The irony of living in a Black Mirror episode while working on Black Mirror is sublime.
Is the 5 second rule going to apply to the director? Obviously not. The producers? Don’t bet on it. But the grip is going to have his glances timed.
“It has sparked jokes,” they added, “with people looking at each other, counting to five, then diverting their eyes.”
Everything the left does sparks jokes. But they’re more like Soviet anecdotes about living under an insane totalitarian system.
