Obama to Millennials: Don't Let Your Grandparents Choose Your Senator

Obama is always a class act.

A condescending, sneering class act, sowing racial, class and even generational division with a wink and a smirk.

“You wouldn’t let your grandparents pick your playlist. Why would you let them pick your representative who’s going to determine your future?” Obama says at one point.

I feel like this shtick, which was successful for a while, has passed its ‘Sell By’ date.

Socialism with a human face has been replaced by screaming banshees smashing things and yelling at the sky. Obama broke the Dems, but in doing so they’ve left him behind. His routine of peddling the illusion of hip would have been news years ago.

It would also have been more effective. Now it’s just a tired old joke.

Also, playing the cool camp counselor worked better before he was closing in on 60. And before his base was closing in on insisting that they be called Lady Snowflake. It’s just a mismatch now. The potential voters he’s targeting are young enough that they barely remember who he is. Obama is becoming yesterday’s news. But the damage he has done is all around us.
